Chris Stapleton is the most talented artist we've seen since the turn of the century when you consider that he's a true thriple threat with his writing, instrument playing, and singing. Change my mind.

I can think a bunch right off the top of my head without even thinking hard.
lots and lots of people do this, and better. No knock to Chris, he is great. But cmon man...

I like his music a lot but he's not alone. You just have to do a little digging.

I cant think of a single artist i listen to that doesn't do all 3 of those things.

Very talented but gimme a fricking break. His Steeldrivers stuff was very great, but his solo stuff is just very good.

I’ll see your Stapleton and raise you Sturgil Simpson and potentially Jason Isbell.

are reaction videos the worst thing on YouTube? Probably

He's middle of the pack in all of that.
Brent Cobb, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Ruston Kelly, Colter Wall, Cody Jinks, Hayes Carll, Randy Houser, Parker Millsap, Chris Shiflet, John Baumann.
Look up some stuff that Music Row doesnt push in your face.

Stapleton might not be the best, but damn it he's better than anything else on country radio.

He is better than anything on country radio. The problem is radio . Radio killed all music with the exception of POP. Chris Stapleton played to a massive crowd of about 75 people at the Varsity a few years back 2 months before his grammy performance. I was there and i still think about that and chuckle.

He's good...but he appears to be even better than he is because the rest of the stuff coming out stinks so bad. Every time I hear a baw singing over a snap track, I want to punch a kitten.

Maybe I didnt clarify my statement enough lol, I meant out of most mainstream (such as on the radio, at award shows, on talks shows, on charts often) acts, I think he is the most talented definitely in country although his music tends to cross over into other genres.

I think for some folks, like myself.....it's about his voice. I always loved Gregg Allman's voice and Stapleton reminds me of him.
