You do realize they play two different positions and are asked to do two different things, right?

That's like saying Blair Thomas is better than Lorenzo Neal because Thomas ran for more yards.

Are you implying that Williams was a better player than Ngata? Ngata was the most dominant DT in the league for a solid 7 yr stretch and maybe even longer. There are 10 Mario Williams in the league at any given time. They are asked to do two different things. The fact that Ngata even has that many sacks in lagniappe when you factor that is value isnt drawn from pressuring the QB. Ngata forced teams to change their gameplan
