Maybe, just maybe, Georgia has some great pitchers and stellar position players.

Do you think it’s gonna get any easier the rest of the way. ALL the SEC schools have good pitching and players. Have to start hitting or it’s gonna be tough to win series

I get that people want to put a bow on everything to make it look better, and say that the other team had great pitching. There is usually some truth to that argument, and this case is no different.

However, if you are a top ten team, with some veterans who are supposed to be better, you shouldn't be happy as a fan or as a member of the team, that you are having THIS much trouble scoring runs. You have to be better. Your freshman throws 7.1 scoreless innings until we inexplicably put in a struggling Peterson, and he allowed both inherited runners to score. Even still, when you get that overall performance on the mound from your starter, you gotta make it count.

At some point, the offense will come around. It has to. But looking ahead to a turnaround doesn't make 1 run in 18 innings ok. I'm sure Georgia fans are saying the same thing about their offense this weekend. But their team doesn't have near the talent in their lineup as LSU does. Especially our top 5.
