Honda's industrial-grade GX engines are OHV, not OHC. The OHC system in the Honda GC and GS series actually lets them get away with looser tolerances (you aren't getting too much precision out of that tiny rubber cam belt too). For residential and light commercial use you don't need that much precision anyways as long as you aren't beating up the mower and keeping it full of good oil.
