They've had decades to development a decent online customer portal. Is it Amazon's fault that they didn't?

How upset were you when we moved from the hand-pump in the yard and the outhouse to indoor plumbing?

WSJ did a good piece on Sears this weekend.

Their arrogance and the arrogance of K-Mart made way for Wal Mart.

I do not miss Sears one second.

Bought a Craftsman torque wrench from the Sears in Lafayette a few years ago. They were secured to the wall by a locking device. I asked the fine African American associate working in that department if he would assist me. He rolled his eyes and begrudgingly came and unlocked it for me. Most of the merchandise on the shelves seemed to be in disarray. No surprise on the decline of Sears from me.

I accidentally bought a crapsman lawnmower one time, bought a 4 year old used John Deere mower last summer for 400, no comparison.

Clothing brands sell on amazon.

We’re all in the midst of massive economic change. My own company is failing due to terrible management that can’t keep up with change, and I’m just riding it down and sucking my coworkers dry of useful information and skills so I can find something better when it ends.

Might be smart to jump ship before all your coworkers do if it’s a small town...
