Given the fact that they were mulling over offers to different recruits I'd say that it takes a lot of faith to believe they've never done business together. The NCAA doesn't have that kind of faith and LSU knows it.

Only in a court of law, in this situation his contract with LSU, and whatever the standard procedures of the school and the NCAA are determine what is evidence, and what rights he has. Wade agreed to this when he took the job.
