Lol Grave as a fill in for Smart? Literally zero comparisons between the two.
Smart can run the pick and roll and hit threes, initiate offense, finish at the end of shot clocks etc. He’s a legit future NBA player.
Graves cant do ANY of that other than he’s made a few threes. Will never come even remotely close to sniffing pro basketball in general let alone NBA. Dude, cmon.

The drop-off from Waters to Smart is A LOT different from the drop-off from Waters to Graves.

Smart. Players are always more important at this point. Bruce Pearl said the same the other day. He actually had a lot of high praise for LSU and Wade.

Smart 100%.. he’s been our hottest player as of late
I’ve gotta feeling that whenever he plays again, he’s gonna light it up

Smart. This group has been playing this scheme all year. By now the coach is just steering the tiller.
If it doesn't happen tomorrow, I don't think that it's going to happen.

Wade is a key factor in gameplanning and in moves in a close game. We will miss WW majorly and more than we would miss Smart. ( note: we would miss Javonte if he cannot play.)
IMO, we will lose out in the NCAA 1 or even 2 games earlier with no WW on the bench.

I’ve said this too. I think we can win the sec tourney with smart and no wade, but I don’t see a deep ncaa run without wade. Maybe sweet 16, but he’s the difference maker, he calls really great plays in the tight games.
