Absolutely false. he can discuss anything he wants to. There is no gag order on the case. He has chosen to not say anything and hide behind his lawyers.
Further, WW's "legal issues" are even more the reason LSU needs to talk to him and find out what's going on.
Tell you what... get a job, have something embarrassing and potentially part of a court case leak out to the media that involves your employment, refuse to meet with your boss, and let me know what happens to you.

Nobody said anything about a gag order. But when you've been subpoenaed, anything you discuss can be used against you, and, as I understand it, LSU had NCAA officials on the phone, and his lawyers told him not to go.
That makes plenty of sense to me.
As for me having a job and doing something to get myself in hot water, or being accused of something bad, that is an apples to oranges comparison. Most bosses don't care about protecting workers in every day jobs. They'd just fire me to rid themselves of the distraction.
It's a LOT different when you have a coach who you are paying over 2 million a year, who has taken your program to great heights in a short period of time. Who does it hurt to let the facts play out? If he ends up being guilty, they can cut ties with him then. Instead, they may have screwed themselves, no matter what happens with the NCAA investigation.
