Why not just ask the guy?

I tried to flag him down a few times and never could get his attention. Had my kids out there with me so I wasn't over there long.

I googled around about it, and someone is coming out to quote. They didn't have many results in my area so maybe it was the same company.

If you don't care how it looks as in don't need it to be perfect and pad ready, you will be a lot better off looking on places like facebook and craigslist than getting a pro.

There's pro's that do this for $$$ and then there are half way retired rednecks that do it for cheap and fun.

The people I know that do it in N. Louisiana charge $600 for a half day and $1000 for a full day. Being it’s at your house I’d recommend a drum style mulcher vs. a disk style mulcher. With a drum style mulcher the operator can better direct the discharge of debris. But, a disk type head is faster.

yeah that sounds like an equipment operator. Dude probably thought you wanted to complain about the noise or something.
