Ok, good to hear.

My main concern was if I'm going to spend that much on a glove is that it holds up to the daily wear and tear of highschool practice and games.

It's a good glove for a dad or a kid rec player, or just to put on a shelf (they have some really cool vintage-look patterns). Not what you are wanting if you are looking for a gamer that's gonna last a kid a few years and work for him in HS. Spend a few bucks more and get a Wilson A2000 or Rawlings HOH. Either of these will require real breaking-in, but a very big uptick in quality from the Shoeless Joe glove.
