that totally vindicates WW what is the downside of coming forward immediately? At the very least why not share the rest of the story, that allegedly vindicates you, with your employers?
Those with nothing to hide hide nothing.
Let the down votes rain down

Wade has absolutely no fricking responsibility at all to responde to yahoo.
Are you really that dense? You think any kid in the top 100 last year went to school for free?
It’s obvious what happened, the issue is that there are over 50 schools implicated with these reports. We’re the only ones that’s killing ourselves.
If will wade is suspended then fine take Zion, Coach K, Bill Self and Bruce Pearl our too and I’m good.
I don’t want an unfair advantage. Just a level playing field.

His attorney has advised him not to say a word because he has to testify in April in the FBI case. I assume anything that he says in private or public could be used against him even if true.

Just to be clear......you acknowledge that we have violated a major NCAA rule but we should get a pass because others have yet to get burned.

Correct, there is a reason WW is staying quiet and said in his only statement that he "understands" why LSU took the action they did.. he could have easily said, "I accept it, but disagree"... It is very likely he has had off the record conversations with LSU and everyone is trying to figure out what else is on tape. At this point WW has no idea what is exactly on tape and he probably wants the time to speak with as many people as possible that may know BEFORE he proceeds. If the tapes have too much info, he needs to be quiet and take his medicine. If the tapes have just what we have seen so far and maybe some other vague references, lawyers can clean it up and he will be back on the sideline, but step one is figuring out what they have.

How can pre-trial testimony or conversation, that may potentially clear you of wrongdoing be a bad thing. Remember he is not on trial or being investigated by the FBI.

The only thing sickening about this whole ordeal is that Wade is being singled out right now.

But this isn't an NCAA investigation -- it's a federal trial. Those tend to hold a more consequences than losing scholarships and skipping tournaments.
Wade can't say anything because, right or wrong, anyone he speaks to will get subpoenaed and every word will be brought out in trial -- void of context or explanation.
Right or wrong, Wade is protecting himself and the administration and the BOS.

Interesting.......but if everything is truely on the up and up why should any of that matter?

Can you honestly look at the vitriol that's come out since last week from a national perspective and think for a second that there's anything Wade could say at this point that would exonerate him and be accepted as truth?
I'm not saying he's clean. The transcripts are pretty damning but in the end, the burden of proof will be on the NCAA when they launch an investigation. For now, with this federal case, the less Wade says, the better for Wade.
For now.

Yes we should. Equal justice under NCAA enforcement or the whole thing is a sham.

He does to LSU.

I just don’t think the FBI gives a rats arse about WW. Has he broken any federal or state laws? Allegedly or otherwise? The NCAA however, is a different story. Proclaiming your innocence to your employer, provided that you ARE innocent, in no way jeopardizes your future. So the NCAA calls in LSU‘s administration for testimony… What could they possibly say to hinder his case if all he told them was… “Hey guys… I’m innocent here. This is how everything went down etc”.
His silence and lack of cooperation with LSU‘s administration are the actions of a guilty man. I would love to see Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and UNC all go down with multi year tournaments sanctions and loss of scholarships just as much as any other Tiger fan. Unfortunately I think things are going to get worse before they get better.
