Actually it was agents and runners that paid Quarterman and Martin after they had left LSU
If you go back and read those articles it was after both had left LSU. Plus LSU likely had no knowledge of that.
No worries on those two as opposed to the wiretaps with Wade.

This is the biggest issue in today's world. no one reads shite. They read headlines. At best, they MAY skim over the article. And then there's the comprehension thing.

correct.

Do players get paid? Sure, that happens.

The huge difference here is that Wade is ON TAPE (TWICE!!) talking about paying players.

The inability of this board to grasp this is just breathtaking.

Actually they say Quaterman was paid at LSU.. and Martin unsure if it was after he left or not.. but this is money coming from an agent not the head coach

quote:

Quarterman is listed as having received $16,000 while an LSU junior during the 2015-16 season. Martin was listed on a photo of the balance sheet with a loan of $52,472.52. It is unclear whether his loan was issued while he was still a college athlete or after he turned pro following the 2014-15 season.
