Less rough, trees, rough and shortened... Back to the way it was would mean multiple -20 scores unless you completely change the greens. The athleticism of today's golfers and equipment changes would make it far too easy and basically a joke. Period. It was a whole 500 yards shorter. I bet you want them to put wide-bladed bermuda back on the greens, too.
