Look how professionals deal with these issues. News breaks, University already has a prepared response that is included in the story. Not like the LSU AD who is always caught with his pants down!!
"In a statement tweeted early Saturday, Cal State Northridge said it will cooperate with any investigation but noted Gottfried has denied the claims.
As part of our hiring process, Coach Gottfried confirmed to CSUN that he had no involvement in, nor knowledge of, any impermissible payments provided to prospective student-athletes during his tenure as a head coach at previous institutions," the school said in its statement. "This affirmation is included in his employment documents and is a condition of employment.""

Let’s take a look at how many times Alleva has caved to public pressure. Duke lacrosse, firing of miles in 2015, hiring of O (right or wrong he caved), and now the Wade situation. That’s not too good of a look.

He’s an embarrassment.
He mishandled the Duke matter and LSU STILL hired him.
He organized a failed coup. Stayed completely silent about Miles FOR 3 WEEKS. Let Miles embarrassingly be carried off the field in his “final” game...only to triumphantly champion Miles...and then fire him a few months later.
He rushed to the podium to hire Ed Orgeron BEFORE the season ended to keep the exactly ZERO other school from hiring him first.
He let Florida get out in front of the Hurricane Matthew story to make LSU look like the “bad guy”
The guy has no credibility and this is likely the nail in that coffin. As long as he is here no HC is going to want to come here except for guys like Orgeron and Jones who have no other options.
