WWhat is happening to coach Wade is a moral issue that is quite shameful.

Why do we always abandon our values, morals and ethics? Because of greed and personal gain, selfish ways, fear, jealousy, lack of empathy, condemnation over forgivness. Our sinful nature in a nutshell. Its way easier to point the finger than to reach out your hand.
How can people call for someone's head and not give him due process? This very notion goes against everything we believe. Everyone wants to point the finger and find a scapegoat to sweep the bigger issue under the rug.
Instead of fixing the whole thing we shame one individual and turn a blind eye because we can't work together to fix something. So by condemning one we absolve ourselves.
We do the same shite in society, and in every other facet of life. We are in such denial of our hypocritical ways. But we are hypocritical by nature so the only fix is to aknowlege this, then we learn to empathize and actual solutions can occur.
So obviously im refering to Coach Wade. I dont condone what he was doing but when everyone else does, and then the media calls for his head. And no one defendes him because of there own guilt, thats not the fix. Why cant these coaches who have had this very issue in the past say. Look this is the same way we have been going about things and its the same story. We need to work together and fix this. The key is all these coaches need to come together and find a solution
This is society, corrupt systems because we do not follow our morals. The key to balance is to fix things from within. Change the way we think and be able to come together and compromise. Thats the only way things will ever change. We will stay in the dark until then.

What did he do that's morally wrong? Attempt to compensate someone for their services?

You must not understand major college sports. Dirty recruiting is as much a part of the game as the Xs and Os.

I didnt say he did anything wrong morally.. he only went against his ethical code...the way the media influence this and the way we treat these issues as a whole is whats morally wrong

Why don't you get amateur athletes' parents to stop selling their kids' rights for profit?

Yes and thats the issue everyone accepts it and lets it go on, but when someone gets caught they want their head on a spike. The media absolutley influenced this thing. If they would just let it go and let every school pay under the table then that would level the playing field...but then comes uncle sam, see the issue. Instead of talking real shite, we talk shite about Wade to keep focus off our own bullshite.

Wade cheated like crazy. The evidence is there for anyone objective. It doesn’t rise to the level required to convict him in court - unless more comes out. However, it does rise to the level that decent people can clearly see he cheated...A LOT.
Criminal conviction requires due process. If you have video evidence, plus testimony from several of your friends, that your woman cheated on you, are you giving HER due process? Employment at LSU is not a right, and Louisiana is an AT WILL state. Due process has no place in that discussion.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying i truly do. But where do you draw the line? LSU knew all about this issue and did nothing till everyone else knew. Thats an issue. We didnt give a shite then we got scared of the backlash.

The legal process can take years. Employers can't wait for all of that to finish. The damage to their company would be severe.
Example: I worked for a very large telecom company in Atlanta 10 years ago. The general counsel was arrested one night for beating his wife and putting her in the hospital.
He was fired the next day. And rightfully so.
Employers don't have to wait for the entire legal process to play out. They have their reputation to protect.
