I managed a union shop that employed a lot of ex-Navy Chiefs electrical. Most were submariners. I loved their attitude.
If they screwed up, without a fault, they would ask me, "are you going to fire me"? I would reply, "no, this is a counseling session".
Their reply..."Well f*&$ this dog and pony show...have you ever been "rimmed"?
Great bunch of guys and overqualified for the job they were doing, but they were paid well.
If you get blamed for something and you did it, admit to it. If you didn't do it, learn from it and go someplace else.
