This game is on sec network at 8pm cst.this game is huuuge, obviously .

State is tough, they are clearly the 4th best team in the conference, in most of the sec basketball fans opinion.

I'm sure everyone knows about this game and it's importance , but just a reminder for some of the lurkers or bandwagon types, if tenn loses one of the next two games, and we win out, that's an sec championship , all to ourselves.

I just wanted to say it.

This games something to watch on a Tuesday night, instead of just saying, "damn, I wish LSU played tonight", i mean this game should be just as fun to watch because of the implications.

I heard recently that we can't get a one seed. The main reason it would be so hard ,is hard to fathom, and shouldn't be true.

They say that the sec tournament champion isn't crowned in time to be taken into consideration for seeding, by the tournament commitee.

In other words the committee S bracket is a done deal, before the championship game of the sec tournament is over. I couldn't confirm this, but have heard before..

Where you at, the boat? this is a question for you. Anybody's expertise would be appreciated

I wouldn't say clearly. We are extremely inconsistent. Auburn is right there with us. If they are making the 3 ball then they are a tough team to play. We will either get blown out tonight or win by 1. It's hard to see anything in between those two scenarios.

Just something odd I noticed.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

Tennessee losing to MSU means:

LSU would be outright SEC champs if we go 2-0.

LSU would be SEC co-champs if we go 1-1.

I didn't, at first.

Then everytime I wrote a message, the responses were either, "I'm not reading all that", or "wall of words".

So I realized the best thing to do, is treat them like children, and make reading FUN!and interesting .

Sometimes I use pictures like gifs, or smiley faces and dancing bannannas.

it's a smart decision
I wouldn't say it is to treat people like children, it's just psychology.

Instead of having to skim the whole post and not quite understanding your point, it breaks up one big blurb into the separate ideas you are trying to say, saving time and effort.
Besides, most people reading this board have jobs and don't feel like reading much when they don't have to.

I agree. I’ll be watching.
I’m also starting to watch some of the other teams in different conferences, see if I can size up our potential NCAA tournament opposition.

What fun is it to have a reason to do this

I don't think that is true at all. But just being the "tournament champion" in and of itself isn't all that relevant (other than getting the auto-bid). It's who you beat in that championship game that matters.

For instance, if LSU where to beat say, Alabama in the SECT championship game it probably wouldn't help much, if at all, in terms of getting a #1 seed. However, if they were to beat Tenn. or UK, then it absolutely would. Not because LSU would be tourney champs, but because it would be a very high Q1 win on a NEUTRAL court. The fact that it happened to be in the final game of the SECT probably wouldn't really matter. It would be just as big a win if it was a Tuesday night game at a neutral site, in January.
