To be honest I have very little hiking experience in WA and haven't done any of those but I'll look them up.

just reminded me of a bad arse climber I know. He's had his son strapped to his back for a few big climbs. I've witnessed it once. Crazy bastard.

I would take a baby on anything up to a scramble rated hike.
