Unmitigated war.
Inequality, winners and losers, greed and power are features of human nature. The goal shouldn’t be to erase human nature (impossible) but to devise a system most capable of dealing with its flaws and allows humans to thrive. We should try to avoid the disasters of the 20th century at all cost.
There have been countless experiments. Punishing people for the sins of their fathers or for colonization over a century ago wouldn’t seem prudent.

I'm so fortunate to live in a country with freedom. Those who are successful farmers, farm. Those who have ability to repair automobiles can do so. Unfortunately, there may be excellent farmers in Zimbabwe who don't have the opportunity to prove it. The land, much like the Soviet Union and East Germany a few decades ago is under the control of government bureaucrats.
Venezuela? Is that a Caucasian/Brit problem? No its a system problem.

The institutions in Zimbabwe aren’t strong enough to make that promise anything more than words on paper, unfortunately.

Talk about pouring gasoline on the fire. If you're allowed to have foreign currency, you can cross the border with a useless trillion-dollar bill and find a Westerner who will gladly give you five or ten euros/real dollars for what (to them) is a cool novelty item. Then you go home and have a medium of exchange.
