I just think LSU needs to prove themselves which is why there is skepticism. Most of the teams ahead of us have had multiple years of success and so IMO that's why they are hesitant to put us top 10.

Not like it matters bc if we take care of business then we'll be ranked accordingly. Win against A&M, Bama, and Florida. I would rather let the rankings be what they may and get hot in the tourney.

I tried to tell some people on here that there was no reason to expect any respect this week, after barely getting a bump for beating Kentucky on the road.

I thought LSU absolutely deserved to be at least 10th, but after what I've seen from the polls all year, and knowing LSU had lost a game this week, I half expected to drop in the polls.

Meanwhile, Michigan State was piling up loses, including to a couple of bad teams, and barely dropping, but they win a couple of games and now they're right back up to 6th. It's basketball elitism. Period.

I remember when Gonzaga came out of nowhere and made that deep run. They haven’t looked back since.
