So against UK the refs should have made the goal tending call but against UT they were supposed to not make the correct call. Got it

LSU played with fire at the very end. Instead of letting Smart make the last free throw Wade should have told him to purposely miss the shot so Tennessee wouldn’t have been able to get another shot off or get the rebound and call timeout.

Dickie V nailed it when he said they could’ve called a foul on two guys . “ During a scrum full of chaos“-“ a scramble and chaos”-???? Smart had clear possession and was dribbling and two Vols crashed into him. I get the impression author David Hookstead doesn’t know too much about basketball.

Ref would have let it go except for the dramatics of the TENN player, who drew all the attention to the foul.
No drama trying to make an obvious blocking foul look like a charge, no foul call.

I did not see the game, and did not see the play in question until just now.
That was a foul. Tennessee player lunged into LSU player - practically head-butted him. That's a foul. Too bad. So sad.
