I have been to dozens of concerts in my adult age, and I have literally never had the urge to lean up to complete strangers, put my hands on them, and ask them completely banal questions about whether they liked a band they paid money to see.

Sounds like your wife may have been one too many in the tank and obnoxious.

I disagree.. I think... I would like some clarification before I pass my judgement:

1) was there any conversation between the four of you before that point?

2) if no, any looks back, interaction, any connection at all?

3) were there chairs between you? bleachers? or was this standing room?

4) if standing room only, was there a bump or two or a dozen bumps before this?

5) describe this "my wife put her hand on her back" moment a bit better... a tap? a long rub? what?

I'll say this.. at a Cowboy Mouth concert, when the energy is electric, and everyone is feeling it, I can see this happening.

I have been all but bear hugged by male and female strangers during key moments of LSU football games.

But if this was some subdued event (no clue about Metric), then it was possibly a bit too far for your wife to go.

HOWEVER... being escorted out is stupid. For the action as described, I would think you should have maybe gotten a minor talking-to, not ejected. The lesbo was more than likely a triggered little bitch.. but please do clarify some details.

1) was there any conversation between the four of you before that point?

We were hanging with a couple that flew in from Canada at a table behind where I took that pic on the first page and my wife would go up to the railing next to the Butch several times and dance and cheer. Maybe the dancing pissed them off? To be honest they looked miserable the whole time so maybe they were fighting.

2) if no, any looks back, interaction, any connection at all?

I am going on what my wife said to her but I saw the entire interaction and it looked like nothing... Like 3 seconds long. Maybe my wife told her she was an ugly bitch and to go frick herself.

3) were there chairs between you? bleachers? or was this standing room?

See the pic. My wife would move up to the railing next to her when a song was playing she liked.

4) if standing room only, was there a bump or two or a dozen bumps before this?

VIP section. There were maybe 20 people tops and open areas as you can see.

5) describe this "my wife put her hand on her back" moment a bit better... a tap? a long rub? what?

My wife put her hand on its (think I'll leave that typo ) back and leaned in close to say something to her when her partner freaked.

Honestly I think this couple was already miserable and looking for a reason to create drama.
