The gay S&M sex with meth up the arse thread had me thinking about wild stories from where I lived.

This one is from my hometown. You have to appreciate this guy’s resolve. The story is from 2000.

Police Blotter

Two undercover policewomen running a prostitution sting in Dothan, Alabama, in October declined to arrest a john, around age 70, even though he attempted to procure their services three times. He first offered to give the women the three squirrels he had just shot, but they ignored him because it would have been too much trouble to store the evidence. A few minutes later he added the used refrigerator in his truck to the offer, but the officers again declined. On the third trip he finally offered cash: $6, but without the squirrels and refrigerator. The officers again declined to arrest him but said they would if he returned. He didn't.

Another favorite that occurred when I lived in Montgomery.

Dead Reverend's Rubber Fetish

OCTOBER 8--An Alabama minister who died in June of "accidental mechanical asphyxia" was found hogtied and wearing two complete wet suits, including a face mask, diving gloves and slippers, rubberized underwear, and a head mask, according to an autopsy report. Investigators determined that Rev. Gary Aldridge's death was not caused by foul play and that the 51-year-old pastor of Montgomery's Thorington Road Baptist Church was alone in his home at the time he died (while apparently in the midst of some autoerotic undertaking).

My forebearers were smart enough to not live in towns where squirrel carcasses are an accepted means of currency.

A “Thank you” to them.

A 180-pound young bear fell through the skylight into the living room of a suburban Juneau, Alaska, home on Wednesday during a baby's first birthday party — and proceeded to eat cupcakes, reports the Juneau Empire.

quote:

"I was literally in the room, and I heard this cracking," father and homeowner Glenn Merrill told the paper. "The next thing you know, there's this bear that, I mean literally, fell right from (the skylight). It was like one meter away from me."

quote:

Half an hour later, a bear suspected to be the same animal walked inside another occupied house and was shot and killed by the Juneau Police Department.

We had a donut shop owner get busted with fricking his dogs. He also had child porn at the shop, so that’s good.
