This is the best advice you can get. So many different systems out there and I'm sure they all will do the job but I also strongly suggest hardwired power. My cousin installed a WiFi system because it was easy to install. It works on motion to help save battery life but he said over time he got tired of changing batteries out and as a result, has had multiple cameras offline many times. I'd even suggest a system that records 24/7. It may be a little more of a hassle to for initial startup but over time it will be worth it.

I recently came across Anker's eufyCam E system.

I'm strongly considering this one especially with their 1 charge=1 year of surveillance. Also, the local storage that could be recorded for an entire year. No monthly fees is always a plus for me.
