Jump back, what's that sound
Here she comes, full blast and top down
Hot shoe, burnin' down the avenue
Model citizen zero discipline
Don't you know she's coming home with me? You'l lose her in the turn
I'll get her!

Just got back from Santa Teresa, Costa Rica yesterday. Neat little surf town on the Nicoya peninsula, but it's kind of a bitch to get to. It's a beautiful, verdant place with waterfalls, jungle, deserted beaches, and a very easygoing vibe. People were friendly enough, plenty of good places to eat, gorgeous sunsets, but it is definitely a little pricey and didn't have quite the energy to it that Havana has. Havana has this intoxicating way about it that draws you in and allows you to lose yourself in a bygone era. There's just something about the smell of cigar smoke, rum, and leaded gasoline... I apparently had a much better culinary experience there than most people seem to, but we did our research before going.
I don't know man, Costa Rica is pretty cool and had been on my list for a long time, but there is just something special about Cuba. I want to go back and see more of it before it loses its authenticity.

I’ll never willingly spend a dime supporting Cuba.
