Since the National rankings do not come out for a few weeks, I went ahead and did my own data collecting and built a spreadsheet for every SEC hitter so we could see some rankings of LSU hitters and how they rank in the SEC. It is early in the season but it's always fun to talk baseball stats IMO

Batting Average (Min - 8 AB's)

Josh Smith - 0.667 (1st)
Daniel Cabrera - 0.500 (7th)
Saul Garza - 0.444 (11th)

Runs

Josh Smith - 6 (3rd)
Brandt Broussard- 5 (4th)
Daniel Cabrera - 4 (5th)
Antoine Duplantis - 4 (5th)
Hal Hughes - 4 (5th)

Hits

Josh Smith - 8 (1st)
Daniel Cabrera - 5 (4th)
Antoine Duplantis - 5 (4th)

Doubles

Josh Smith - 2 (3rd)
Hal Hughes - 2 (3rd)

Home Runs

Daniel Cabrera - 2 (1st)
Antoine Duplantis - 2 (1st)

RBIs

Antoine Duplantis - 10 (2nd)
Daniel Cabrera - 6 (5th)

Total Bases

Antoine Duplantis - 12 (4th)
Daniel Cabrera - 12 (4th)
Josh Smith - 10 (6th)

Slugging Pct.

Daniel Cabrera - 1.200 (2nd)

Hal Hughes will have an Andrew Stevenson like year in terms of improving his bat. Maybe not to that extent, but still.

Fantastic opening weekend. Flashed our potential to be the best offensive lineup in baseball

Can’t wait to see Henry her a start tonight, huge arm
Not to mention the two freshmen we threw Saturday and Sunday. Going to be a great year

That'd be great, but, I'll have whatever you're smoking.

When did that go live? I did not find anything yesterday when I compiled the numbers.

Vietmeier is leading the SEC in appearances.

LSU relievers are stranding 62.5% of inherited runners (5/8).

Tennessee is leading the league in Team ERA right now after not giving up a run in 3 games to Appalachian St. Garrett Crochet, a starter last year as a freshman, now coming out of the bullpen, struck out 9 in 4 relief innings.

I know it's early and they played a tomato can, but they're going to be better than they were last year.
