50% of the games would fall on either side of the spread naturally.
So half the games got the result he wanted. Half didn’t. He couldn’t just snap his fingers and get the result he wanted.

Oh so you now know exactly how many times he tried to influence the outcome of a game and failed? So if he calls fouls to get teams to the free throw line to influence whether or not a team covers the spread, are you saying the team shooting free throws earned the win because they made the free throws? Even if the free throw attempts were manufactured by a ref trying to manipulate the score? No, he cannot make the shots for another team, but he damn sure can give them enough opportunities to achieve his desired outcome. This is just a really terrible hill to die on, boom, and I think you know that.
