I grew up in Hueytown and knew the Allison’s well. I was in Daytona the day Earnhardt died. Ken Schrader said “He’s gone” when he walked back to the garage. Red Farmer was my crew chief for a few years after Davey died in a few Arca races and when I drove for MedPartners in Busch Grand National in 97.

That’s interesting Do you have any more behind the scenes stuff you can share? Not just related to Earnhardt.

Names you know well, Neil, Bobby and Red would show up and run at the old BR Speedway years ago. Neil would always make time to talk with fans.
