I've been pretty plugged into the evangelical movement my entire life and I've never met someone who was an adherent of Osteen or the like. I honestly don't think I've met anyone who has expressed support for them either.

To be honest, it doesn't come up. I think that's a sign of just how separate these guys are from mainstream Christianity

It's definitely a separate "branch," so to speak, but some of these guys have enormous followings and I think it does damage to the Christian faith
