Wrong. Under normal circumstances this is correct. This is not normal. Public supports border security and immigration controls so this is big. Second, people understand the dems anti-wall stance is pure politics. Third, most people have had enough of the gridlock. Fourth... Trump is awesome and the voters know it. He is doing what is in the best interest of CITIZENS of this country.

Bull fricking shite. This wall does nothing to hinder the immigration problem. People coming in from the southern border has been on the decline for the last 10 years. This does nothing to fix the real problem of people overstaying their visas and just not leaving.

Real immigration reform isn't building a vanity wall. And declaring a national emergency to build a wall that is equivalent to putting a cork in a dam leak just opens the door for the shitty democrats to do something equally moronic.

A shiny object again, most people overstay their visas, but they DONT STAY PERMANENTLY. They are people who are on business, or students, or visiting a sick relative. They dont stay, its a new set of people being counted each year.

People who make this argument, have you ever tried to obtain a visa for the US? It aint easy, certainly not as easy as walking across the border. Thats why people who would not qualify for a visa use the southern border AND STAY.

As to your ten year low, asylum claims are up 70% versus a year ago. No one gives a shat about the ones we catch, its the ones that get in the country that concern us.
