He will still have 4 years left on a $2.5M/yr deal which is guaranteed BOTH ways, if someone wanted to hire him after this season they would have to pay us $10M to get him.
Now I'm not saying he wouldnt deserve an extension and raise, but I could see something like maybe a year or 2 added on his current deal and maybe a $250k-$500k raise on it. It also wouldnt totally surprise me if they waited 1 more season.
