Remember the LSU rout of Kentucky at Lexington in 1987?

In a much different but equally pleasing Tiger victory on 1/18/87, LSU plastered Kentucky, 76-41.
It was Kentucky's worst home loss in 60 years. Eddie Sutton was so disgusted that no Kentucky player appeared with him in the post game press conference.
High scorers for LSU were Anthony Wilson with 28, Nikita Wilson with 16 and Oliver Brown with 12.

All of Nikita’s points came in the second half I think . Wasn’t he suspended for some reason during the first half?

Everybody seems to remember the Mardi Gras Massacre, but always forget this one in our favor. I would bet this game is still Kentucky's largest home defeat (35 points)to date.

I cannot recall if Nikita was suspended for the first half. I would have to research that.
Apologies for just seeing your post.

Remember the ky comeback from 35 down?
Edit:. Not sure if 35 but it was definitely 30+. The downvotes are probably too young to remember.

Yep. It was glorious!
That it certainly was. As amazing as this outcome was, it had absolutely no carryover effect. The Tigers returned home, and three nights later, were blasted by Florida 75-51. The LSU "star" that evening was Paulo Simoes!

Awesome. Two days after a big win in Lexington in a thread about a 35 point win over UK you have to inject the meltdown loss vs Kentucky in '94.
You must have a miserable life.
