When AD was playing the, "i just wanna play basketball" card , I understand where he was coming from, even if I disagreed.
I knew he'd half arse on defense. But I assumed he would wanna keep his offensive numbers up.
It seems like he doesn't even care about the offensive end either, though.
So whats the point of him wanting to play then? I don't understand the thinking.

He wasn’t thinking was the problem. Rich Paul told him he could have his cake and eat it too and he believed it.

He's trying to lower his trade value as much as possible, so the teams will back off on trading for him. Then, the Lakers can get him with their shitty trade offer.

He wanted to seem like the good guy by wanting to play. He figured we would bench him and he would get a PR win.
