Hmmm... it seems I like most of the most hated films on this board. Weird. It's mainly because I find most of the culture war stuff to be boring as hell so I just ignore it. I've got no dog in the fight, so I don't get bent out of shape by a movie's existence. And I really can't relate to how the anti-SJW crowd is just angry all the time. It seems they are outraged just to be outraged, and they keep that fire burning 24/7, 365. I don't have that sort of energy.

And i mean this whatever side of the culture war you're in. This board leans consevrative, but there are liberal boards mad about the pro-cop message in BlacKkKlansman, the Sam Rockwell character in 3 Billboards (which is a criticism which sort of misses the entire point of the film, but whatever), the toxicity of the main character in Ready Player One... I mean, people are ready to be mad about every damn movie if it doesn't perfectly line up with their beliefs.

Your politics are boring. That goes for everyone.

That character was about as exciting to watch as watching wallpaper dry. He was a blank slate. I don’t see how you can be outraged.
