I don't get to listen to him much for basketball but he is very smooth calling the game.

He and Brady work well together unlike Blair and his baseball sidekick

I agree. Blair is at his best on the basketball call. That “D, D, D, Defeeense” cheer by the male cheerleaders is annoying as fk though. Makes me not want to listen.

I always thought basketball was Jim Hawthorne's best sport as well and baseball his worst.

Never understood why a he would be more adept at calling a faster sport than a slower one

He is better at Basketball. I do not care for Blair doing Football.

His "Touchdown Tigers" is just cheesy the way he does it. It sounds disingenuous and forced.

I wish him well, and I know he isnt going anywhere soon, but I really don't care for him for football. I don't even bother to bring my radio to the stadium anymore. He sounds like he should be doing Fox MLB or something. He's a huge departure from Furgeron and Hawthorne, both of whom had great and distinctive voices. Blair sounds too Pro. There's just no character at all. Again, i'm sure he's a great guy, but that does nothing for a college football broadcast.
