I know AD has a little beta in him, but he's still a stud, and Boston has nowhere else to go with this, IMO. Doesn't mean we will outbid ourselves, but what are you going to do if not trade for AD? Sit there and watch Kyrie sign with the Knicks and run this same team back without him?
If we get out of this being able to field Kyrie/Hayward/Horford/AD plus one of Smart or Jaylen, plus Baynes and Morris? I'm good. Even if only for one year.

I agree with you on smart vs Brown but smarts salary has to be included in any deal to make it legal...horford would have to opt in for him to be included
so the Celtics can’t wind up with Davis/smart/horford/Hayward
