People forget Hayward is 6'8" 225. He's a 4. Draymond is 6'7" 230.
on basketball reference, his closest match on "career similarity score" is draymond green
basically, if you take him on, he's your "AD salary slot" and you build around him, holiday, tatum. i am of the opinion that buying low on him now is the right thing to do but i realize it's a big risk. the reward could be huge though

It's without a doubt a risk, but why not take it?
seriously, what do you think is wrong with him right now?
I mean he may be in a mental state where he's just never going to be the same basketball player again. This injury he had is not one that people don't come back from physically.
I really think the emergence of Tatum and then Kyrie being so ball dominant has really changed how he plays the game, and he just isnt' adjusting to it very well.
If he doesn't work out, oh well. You pay him for two years and he's gone, and by then i'd hope you would have found someone to take his place from the draft.
It's not like we are attracting some big FA with cap space, so who cares if we have any.
