Look all I’m saying is that I’ve been hunting for a long time and not once have I ever seen a Boykin Spaniel outwork a lab...

I’m with you on this as a whole, but I know there are a few boykins that will stomp some labs. I’ve seen an English Cocker out work a low drive lab in the duck blind (marks only).

My point really wasn't about which breed is better. If someone wants a lab, then they should get a lab. If the want something else, then they should get something else.
But someone shouldn't bad mouth someone else's choice to validate their own choice.
