Staining cypress

I need suggestions on what type of stain/varnish to stain a small piece of cypress furniture that I am making. I want it a little darker than the natural color but dark enough to really bring out the grain. This piece will be indoors. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I like Minwax stains and finish with some rub-on tung oil.
Color is up to you.

Also look into wax.
Save some scraps of wood and then use them as test pieces.

Whatever you choose, I would recommend a Pre stain conditioner.
