2019 Rugby Thread - Six Nations Tournament starts 2/1/2019

Big weekend for rugby. The highly anticipated Six Nations European tournament kicks off today.
Major League Rugby, the U.S./Canada professional league kicked off last week. Your NOLA Gold hosted the new Toronto Arrows franchise in Marrero and came away with a 36-31 victory. NOLA hosts Glendale (Denver) this Saturday at 2pm. Locals should make it out to Gold Stadium @ Archbishop Shaw HS to watch.
USA 7s is tied atop the HSBC series leaderboard, having finished 2nd place in 3 consecutive tournaments.
Finn McCools in NOLA will be showing all the Six Nations game live.

Ireland for sure the favorite. If they run the table, they'll actually pass up New Zealand in the World Rugby rankings.

Didn't even know Nola had a professional league rugby team. They had a club team last I remember.

LV Rugby Sevens 1 month away. 
It's funny that we have the Rugby Sevens and NASCAR here the same weekend. Both events have functions downtown and it makes for a fascinating cross section of fans.
