I thought he was sliding and running out of bounds. It was as if they gave up early and didn't want him to get hurt.

I guess that why they took him out early...

We absolutely don't want him to get hurt. He is critical to our success, and quite frankly, beating LSU and losing to LSU get us to the same place in FCS. Next week the polls will come out, and there is a pretty darn good chance we will still be ranked #1 in FCS. The voters know we weren't supposed to win and that we can't match you guys, especially in the trenches. It is way more important for us to get the reps in against REALLY tough teams so that it makes it at least APPEAR a million times easier when we do play the likes of James Madison and Georgia Southern, etc.

I am afraid. I was watching some clips of last year and LSU struggled mightily at times against really mobile QBs. With new LBs and corners, I look for Edwards to rip off chunks of yardage around the edge and make the LSU D look bad. I don't think they score much, but the John Q. Drunk is going to be cursing the defense quite a bit in the opener.

You have no worries of ever being called Mr. Prognosticator...

Uuuuhhhh...I was at the game and the only thing rolling around the edges of our defense was Armanti's helmet after he got bitch-slapped by our D...with that said...I give props to ASU for playing hard in a difficult situation.
