Not questioning his power, he’s on base a lot with speed, perfect 2 hole
He swings and misses too much for my liking to put him at 2. Watson is also a terrible baserunner and I don’t like my 2 hole giving up outs on the basepaths before my 3-4-5 guys are batting. Smith is perfect at 2. Can get on himself, has good pop, can bunt, and can handle the bat very well for those hit and runs Maineiri loves to do.

He does swing and miss too much, but he's not a terrible baserunner. He was 14-18 in stolen bases, and I believe a couple of those caught stealing's were actually pickoffs.
Duplantis is the one who needs to work on his base running. For all the speed he has, his SB percentage hasn't been too great. He was 19-27 last year.
Mark Laird had the same problem his first two years here, before he figured it out in his junior year. Duplantis is now a senior, so I sure hope we'll see better jumps out of him. Otherwise, he doesn't need to run. That lineup, if it lives up to it's potential, will be a juggernaut. No real reason for anyone to run, unless there is a catcher who is struggling. Always take advantage of those guys.
