You posted 1 minute before I posted IST thread. Didn’t see yours.

Tensas Parish
39 degrees, no wind, BP 30.18
Box on winter plot in between bean field and oak flat.
.35 Whelen

I’m going to be able to hunt until the very last day, 01/31. I’m excited about the weather being predicted tomorrow through the end of the week. Tomorrow afternoon should be pretty good before that front moves in and Tuesday afternoon through Thursday should be ideal. It’s a damn shame we didn’t get 1 or 2 more good cold fronts like what’s forecasted Tuesday earlier in the season.

Good Luck OB

Sounds like you two need to wear orange. Might be real close to each other. Good luck. Kill a big un.

Yea, I’ve been seeing good numbers the past couple of afternoons. Afternoons have always been my favorite post rut.

I have been seeing a shite ton of deer in the mornings but most have been bedding down right before daylight.

Had a very nice, mature deer out yesterday morning but he walked off within 10 minutes of shooting time. Very same deer did the same thing to me last weekend. Does are hanging out much longer in the mornings and I think there may be 1 or 2 that weren’t bread during the primary rut that are hot right now at this particular stand. Hoping they’ll lure that buck in during shooting hours

Fighting a cold. Making a hunt this pm and Monday morning. My .38-55 Target Classic is a wonderful rifle. I’ll try to kill a doe.
We don’t see as many bucks, but have seen some whoppers late in the season over the years. Maybe one will drift through.

Sitting in the stand with pops on a stand called dildo. From google the plot looks like a cock and balls
Have had a huge 6 point showing up his spread looks like a 55 gallon drum could fit in it.
Good luck y’all. This is my last day hunting until turkey season. Pulling a dawn til dust

Nice baw. Wish my dad loved to hunt, he only plays golf.

Some of the best times are before, during and after hunting/fishing trips
