I have read many threads on the OT discussing the superior quality of a safety razor shave.

I finally found a safety razor with just enough toxic masculinity to make me pull the trigger and take the plunge. The BamBaw

BamBaw Safety Razor - $18.99 on Amazon

Also picked up a pack of Feather blades. I've used the setup 3 times, and must say I am sad I didn't make the transition sooner.

Any irritation with feather? I’ve never used those.

None so far. However, I have "dry shaved" with only water most of my adult life, so my skin is probably a little less sensitive than most. This is the first time I've ever used shave soap and a brush. Very pleased.

Vegans, crossfitters, and safety razor users.

I would sooner never shave again than ever use another Gillette or P&G product. And since I was having to overhaul my shaving supplies anyway, I figured I might as well upgrade for cheaper in the process.

Be very careful with the feathers or you’ll cut your face up good. Very light pressure with lots of lubricant.

Go easy until you get the hang of it. You won't go back my friend. It's night and day difference. WAY more cost efficient as well in the long run.

I was very careful the first time I used them, but have gotten more and more comfortable and confident. I have been doing 2-3 passes per shave. No cuts so far. I found a cool video on YouTube of a Scottish man giving a tutorial on safety razor usage. Very helpful with technique, and his voice is awesome.

Pretty sure there is a lot more to it than it just being a commercial.

Have used a safety razor for years but will be getting the Bambaw just because of the Baw.

That's legitimately the primary reason it caught my eye. Then I looked at the pics and reviews and pulled the trigger. It's rugged and has a very nice weight and feel to it. I am enjoying it. Thanks OT!

Love my safety razor, it eventually becomes second nature and takes the same time as any disposable razor. Let us know if you have any questions.

Edit: that video of the Scottish man is the same one I used, although he takes a long time to shave. You don’t always have to do two passes

Just bought one. Been contemplating on buying a safety razor for awhile now. Your thread just pushed me off the ledge.

BAW in the name definitely made it an easier choice.

No, it’s literally a commercial. What you choose to do with the commercial is on you.

Some choose to get triggered and some don’t.
