I’ve told my boss off plenty of times. When he’s wrong, he’s wrong and should be called out on it. But you’d know that if you were more than a manual labor worker or some other job that requires zero skill.

See, you can get away with that shite if you are so valuable to the company that they can’t afford to lose you. If you make the boss more money than he would be making without you, trust me, you can call him out on his bullshite and be thanked for doing it after.

Good bosses are actually ok with a contest of ideas. Doesn't mean they're always happy with it but they accept it. That's where creativity and progress is born.

Insecure bosses are the dictatorial types that aren't open to doing things a different way. They aren't comfortable with not being the absolute authority in every aspect of the operation.

You're living in a fantasy world. I've done well professionally. There's a difference between pointing out problems and total disrespect and abuse directed at your boss. If you had any real world experience you would know this.
