I wonder how an axis would do in South Louisiana/Mississippi? Seems to be doing great in Texas?

I go every year on a combo rio amd axis hunt in sonora, texas. I go with judd martin of martin hollow outfitters. Great guide and great accomadations. I think he is originally from louisiana

Our old neightbor in Kingston had some in his high fence. They did fine

There were quite a few of them on Cat Island before Katrina. After Katrina, there were quite a few on the beach in MS...smelling pretty bad too.

My FIL’s boss has them on his place in Lucedale, MS

They do fine
