It is January in Chicago, you don't need to check your weather app 4 times a day.

In case you are new to the area, they do have snow plows and they rarely get ice, so your commute isn't going to be all that fricked up either way.

Tell us how your blue suit went over at the super fancy NYE party with important people. That's what we really want to know.

Your comment is completely useless. What the hell do snow plows have to do with a damn thing. Making assumptions. I don’t particularly care about the roads too much. I don’t commute by automobile.

I, and most people I know, commute by rail. Subway isn’t affected by weather, but people taking the full rail trains certainly are. If I’m expecting people to be in to do work by a certain time, and they end up getting delayed due to frozen switches, that impacts everyone. I like to have an idea ahead of time as much as much as possible for the upcoming day

Sidewalksat least do get a ton of ice in residential areas and in certain commercial areas. Side walks are supposed to be cleared within 6 hours, but there’s still some ice stretches from a week ago.
