Thats how the NBA has always been. Why would a guy take a buyout and go to a team that might not even make the playoffs? The only point in getting a buyout is to go somewhere where you have a chance to get to the Finals

I’d think RoLo wouldn’t mind coming back here in a vacuum.
I think there are some small market GMs who might do New Orleans a solid after they expressed disdain for the Lakers bs a month ago.
If James Jones can be sending his buddy players, then teams who don’t like the Lakers practices could do the same.
