I bought the Benjamin Trail NP2 that shoots .22 caliber.

I bought my son the Benjamin Titan NP .22 which is a step down from the Trail and it will absolutely stack pellets together and hits like a hammer. I’d like to get him another and may get a Trail for him and take the Titan. His is the wooden stock that’s a little heavy.

OP... I’m about your age and want one myself. Whatever you go with, try several different pellets to see which shoots better. The best grouping we got was the cheap Crosman premier hollow points that Wal-Mart carries.

I looked on the interwebs and the reviews of the Trail NP were pretty mixed. Biggest knocks were accuracy. I'm assuming that some just didn't find the right ammo for that gun. But it was a consistent gripe.
