Bigjlaw: you need to learn context in your response post. Past admins certainly stressed border security and walls have been built in the past. Now is now and then was then and the isues and crises have changed and have been addressed. There does need to be greater security...no question.
The problem is what trump is selling is snake oil and he has zero credibility. If he was not such a lying prick the wall would be built as needed. His fault. His ego.
